TRIP TO THE ZOO

     ON FRIDAY 6TH OF JUNE ALL YEAR 0/1'S
   WENT TO AUCKLAND ZOO.

During our trip to the zoo we took the opportunity to look at as many different types of animals as we could.
      We had a GREAT DAY!

On the bus and just getting ready to embark on our journey to the Auckland Zoo YAY!We are so happy.

We listened very carefully to Sue who was our workshop teacher at the zoo.

Oh YAY! Time for Kai. We are so Hungry! YUM! YUM!

O! OH! I think there are WAY too many of you in the van!

We watched a very beautiful peacock walking around the little house.

We loved watching the ducklings swim in the little lake at the zoo.

OK ! it's time for a little break again before we continue walking in search of other animals! oh! my feet are really really tired!

We watched the sea lions do LOOP THE LOOP. It looked fun! They are such amazing creatures.

We weren't scared when walking across the HANGING BRIDGE . We are brave children of room 6.

Time for a bath!

COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO! said the rooster as we walked past!

Oh hello children! I am a pretty friendly giraffe you know. I've just come to say hello to you all. Hope you all are having a great time at the zoo.

Aarush pretending to be daddy kea looking for food to take back to mummy kea who is keeping her eggs nice and warm in the nest.

Ok this is the funniest part of all when daddy kea puts the food in mummy keas mouth because mummy kea cannot leave her eggs unattended in the nest.
