JOURNEY THROUGH ROOM 6

ROOM 6 HAS A VARIETY OF REALLY INTERESTING AREAS WITHIN THE CLASSROOM TO LEARN FROM.
CHECK OUT OUR REALLY COOL LEARNING CENTRES-:

At the moment we are learning "All About Me" and we drew pictures of ourselves using the kidpix programme in the computersuite.

This is our class library. We have lots of really cool books and very cuddly teddy bears that we can read to during our reading time.

This is our te reo area. Our te reo session is normally on a Friday and that's when we learn lots of interesting things like colours, numbers, greetings and names of things around our classroom in Maori . We also learn to sing waiatas during our te reo session.

This is our letter wall. We learn a different letter each week. This week we are learning letter 'h'.

This is also a very interesting part of our classroom. It's called the letter table where we contribute objects that have names beginning with the letter of the week. This week we have some horses, a house and some letter h books on the table.

In topic we are learning about the native birds of New Zealand.

Value for this term is being "Polite Considerate and Sensible". We try to use our manners as much as we can.
